Welcome to First Presbyterian Academy! I invite you to explore our website and discover a school where students are known deeply, discipled faithfully, and equipped excellently for their God-given calling.

At FPA, we believe education should prepare students for more than what comes next. Certainly, we want our graduates prepared to thrive in college. But our aspirations for them are much greater than college admission or career success. We are preparing students for life, for eternity, and for the calling God has placed on their lives.

We call this Calling Prep.

Calling Prep begins with knowing and loving students well. Within a community rooted in Christ, our teachers challenge students academically, disciple them intentionally, and help them discover and develop the gifts God has given them. Students learn to think deeply, work diligently, step beyond what is comfortable, serve others, and see their education as preparation for a purpose larger than themselves.

Our vision is for graduates who love God, love others, pursue their calling, and embrace a cause that advances God's kingdom. That vision shapes what happens in our classrooms, on our stages and athletic fields, in our relationships, and throughout the life of our school. We want students to leave FPA not only confident and capable, but also grounded in Christ and prepared to use what they have been given in faithful service to God and others.

That formation happens best in community. From the moment you arrive on our campus, I believe you will sense something distinctive about FPA. There is genuine warmth here. Teachers know their students. Students form lasting friendships. Families partner with the school. Coaches, teachers, and mentors encourage students while also challenging them to grow. We take our work seriously, but we also believe there should be great joy in doing it together.

At FPA, we see our work as an extension of the investment parents have already begun at home. We are grateful for the trust families place in us, and we embrace the responsibility of walking alongside parents during these formative years. Together, we want students to become young men and women who know what they believe, understand how God has gifted them, and have the courage to faithfully pursue His calling.
