Lower School After School Clubs, Classes, & Activities
We are excited to offer after-school clubs, classes and activities for our lower school students at First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest this year! We have chosen activities that we hope will interest the artistic, athletic and academic-minded students. Some of these activities will be available for the full school year and others will run by semester only.
These programs will start after school at 3:00 pm. Please note that yearly programs are handled on a monthly basis and do not require a yearly contract.
You can sign your student up for an after-school activity without signing up for after school enrichment, as long as you pick your child up from the activity at the scheduled time. If you plan to have your child stay at school past the pick-up time for the chosen activity, you will need to sign them up for our late stay program and the after school enrichment staff will stay until 5:30 pm.
Please follow the link below each club description to register. You will be required to register for each club individually and submit payment for each club separately to reserve a place in the program. Please note that Greenville Academy of Martial and Kidokinetics are outside organizations. If you are interested in participating in either of those programs please email Adrian Macerola - amacerola@firstpresacademy.com.
Serve and Sing
We are called to love our neighbors, serve with compassion, and bring hope to our community. Each week, we will learn about a local ministry or mission and discover how we can be part of the work they are doing. Together, we will explore the heart of servant leadership—leading by example, putting others first, and serving with humility, just as Jesus taught us.
Students will not only participate, but also step into the role of project managers, planning and carrying out service projects from start to finish. They will have the opportunity to brainstorm, organize, lead, and follow through on meaningful service initiatives. Through this, we will show that no person is too young, too small, or too inexperienced to make a lasting impact in our local community.
With worship, song, collaboration, and hands-on service, we will grow in faith and confidence—believing that in Christ, all things are possible.

Greenville Academy of Martial Arts
Our children are growing up in a world that tells them to do whatever they feel like doing and that their happiness is the highest good. But, seeking happiness without good character – self-control, respect, and work-ethic – is a recipe for disaster. We teach our students that doing the right thing is always more important than doing what we feel like doing. With a deep emphasis on character and quality, we teach age-appropriate self-defense skills through Jeet Kune Do, a scientific, simple, and effective method. It’s an unbeatable combination.
