Understanding the Value of a Top Private School in Greenville, SC
Private school tuition can feel intimidating — especially when you’re trying to make the best decision for your child’s future and still stay within a family budget. You want your investment to matter, not just for college preparation, but for who your child becomes along the way.
At First Presbyterian Academy, we understand the weight of that decision. That’s why we’re committed to making the admissions process transparent and the value of an FPA education unmistakable. From personalized academic support to Christ-centered mentorship and leadership opportunities, your child will be known, challenged, and deeply cared for here.
Families often tell us that choosing FPA was one of the best decisions they’ve ever made. Budgeting wasn’t always easy, they say. But sending their children to the right school was worth every penny.

Making Christian Education Possible Through Financial Aid
We know that cost can be one of the biggest concerns when considering a private Christian education, but don’t let that stop you from exploring what’s possible at First Presbyterian Academy.
Our goal is to make an FPA education accessible to families who desire a Christ-centered learning environment for their children. We work with families to help make the investment more manageable through financial aid, family discounts, and flexible payment plans.

Financial Aid
Starting in kindergarten, FPA offers need-based tuition assistance through FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, a confidential third-party service. Awards are determined by demonstrated financial need and are reassessed annually. Applications open on February 1 each year.

Discounts
We offer several ways to reduce tuition through discounts for specific groups, including:
- Multi-student families
- Alumni families
- Full-time pastors
- First Presbyterian Church members
- Family referrals

Payment Plans
Tuition can be paid in full, by semester, or in 10 monthly installments through FACTS Tuition Management. Families paying in full by June 12 receive a 4% discount. Payment plans begin in August and can be customized to fit your family’s budgeting needs.
