Animal Adventure Camp - FULL

This camp is full and is no longer accepting new campers.

About: We will be learning about an amazing animal each week! Animal-loving kids will have a WILD week filled with learning and FUN! Including animal fun facts, crafts, drawing, themed snacks, outdoor activities, habitats, book making, and more!  

Location: Lower School in Mrs. Kinley’s classroom

Crusader Volleyball Camp!

What: Join us this summer for our Crusader Volleyball Camp! Ryan Godsey & Julia Harris will be running a Volleyball Camp for 4th-12th grade students.

When: June 3rd-June 7th

Where: Upper School Gymnasium

Time: 9th – 12th grade students 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

         4th – 8th grade students 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Crusader Basketball Camp! 

What: Our junior camp allows the aspiring young athlete an opportunity to be taught correct fundamentals by alumni college athletes while enjoying the air-conditioned facilities of the Forest.  Our Crusader alumni and current basketball players will interact with campers to inspire and guide them in their love for the game of basketball. The focus of junior camp is to have fun while instilling correct fundamentals and form while encouraging campers spiritually with lessons from the hardwood.

When: June 10th – 13th

Cost: $125 (Includes Crusader Basketball Shirt) – 24 kids per session

Session 1: Elementary Camp

Times: 9 am - 11:30 am

Attendees: Boys and Girls rising 3rd - 5th grade

Check-in Time: Session 1 (Elementary Camp) - 8:30 AM in the lobby of the Upper School Gymnasium

Session 2: Junior Camp

Times: 1 pm – 4:00 pm

Attendees: Boys and girls in rising 6th - 9th grade.

Check-in Time: Session 2 (Junior Camp) - 12:30 PM the lobby of the Upper School Gymnasium

What to expect:

  • Daily instruction and drills focused on fundamentals and individual skill improvement
  • Daily interaction with college athletes and high school athletes
  • Various daily emphasis on ball-handling, passing, shooting, individual offensive moves
  • Daily games to put instruction into action
  • Fun activities and contests throughout the week
  • Awards for contest winners and exemplary character given out on the last day.

What to Bring:

  • Non-marking athletic shoes (basketball/court shoes are best)
  • Labeled beverage if desired (water will be provided free of charge)
  • Snack or money to purchase snacks
  • A willingness to try new things and have fun!

Kidokinetics SportsPlay!  

About: Daily active play in soccer, hockey, tennis, parachute, bean bags, scooters, noodles, lacrosse, scoops, badminton, football, volleyball, basketball, frisbee, and outdoor obstacle course! Learn about teamwork, communication, and leadership, all while having fun and being ACTIVE!  

Location: Lower School  

Date: July 8-12th

Time: 9:00 am-1:00 pm

Price: $295 ($30 discount for current Kidokinetic Families!)

Who: 5-12 years old

Drama Kids Camp!  

About: Drama Kids is hosting a summer camp at FPA! Come join us for the “Make ‘Em Laugh – A Comedy Club” drama camp this summer! Learn how to clown around, tell jokes, and mime your way out of those summertime blues! Stretch your imagination while strengthening confidence through comedy!

Summer Break Piano Blast Camp

About: The Summer Break Piano Blast Camp is a great opportunity for children to refresh their piano skills through the summer. This camp will meet 4 days a week for 2 hours per day. It focuses on learning new piano music of the student’s choice: Disney, Hits, Popular, Classics, Favourites, Rock’n roll, Jazz and Blues, Kids song, Hymns, Ragtime/ Marches and Music from China. The camp will include piano ensembles and musical games. Snacks will be provided.

Location: Eastside Presbyterian Church, Shannon Forest Campus, Kids' room

Dates:  July 22nd-25th, or July 29th-August 1st

Time: 10am-12pm.
