This year, the 2023 Homecoming Spirit Week will be raising money and collecting items for Shepherd’s Gate, a Miracle Hill Ministry. Shepherd’s Gate in Greenville provides safe shelter for women and mothers with young children who are experiencing homelessness. Our Upper School will have a grade by grade competition to bring in the most items. Lower School and Downtown campuses are also welcome to bring in items to support this organization.
Needed items include:
Laundry pods
Styrofoam cereal/soup bowls
Toilet paper
Canned fruit (largest cans available)

Friday, January 13 (UPPER SCHOOL ONLY):
PJ Day - (No sweatpants) Wear your favorite PJs and begin bringing in items for Shepherd’s Gate
Monday, January 16 (ALL SCHOOL):
Big Air Fundraiser - Have fun at Big Air from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Just let them know you are with FPA and we will receive a portion of the proceeds. There is NO SCHOOL on this day!
Tuesday, January 17 (UPPER SCHOOL ONLY):
First Letter of Name Day - Dress up like anything that has the same first letter of your name! Be creative, but make sure it is dress-code appropriate.
Wednesday, January 18 (UPPER SCHOOL ONLY):
Decades Day - Bring back a blast from the past by dressing up in clothes from your favorite decade! 50s? 60s? 90s? You choose!
Thursday, January 19 (UPPER SCHOOL ONLY):
Rhyme Without Reason Day - It’s a plane, and a train, and Mark Twain! Find a friend or a group and dress like items that rhyme. The most creative group wins a prize!
Friday, January 20: (UPPER SCHOOL ONLY):
Color and Anything But Backpack Day – Each Grade dress in their class color and bring your books in anything but a backpack!
