Select members of the FPA Concert Choir participated in the 43rd Annual Gardner-Webb University Choral Clinic on Tuesday, October 25. The mass choir event included 160 students from 13 high schools in North and South Carolina. Students spent the day rehearsing, enjoyed a tour of campus, faculty performances, and held a concert that evening in Dover Theatre. The clinician for the 2022 GWU Choral Clinic was Dr. Melinda Doyle, Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at the University of Montevallo, Alabama. 

The concert program included the following sacred works:

The Last Words of David - Randall Thompson
Kyrie from Missa Brevis in C minor - Imant Raminsch
Dies irae from Requiem in D minor - W.A. Mozart 
O Love - Elaine Hagenberg
City Called Heaven - arr. Josephine Poelinitz

Participating Concert Choir members included Josie McCotter, Corrine Walker, Lizzie Spicer, Megan McGovern, Connie Juhnevicz, Joanna Stoddard, and Maddie Whitworth.
